Nelly's is by far the best pizza/sub shop in Haverhill. We have tried many items on the menu and have never been disappointed. Food is delicious, portions are huge, and the staff is very kind. 10/10
I have never been inside Nelly’s but get take out on DoorDash. Food is always excellent. Pizzas are traditional Italian pizzas and I got the best chicken cutlet sub that was the best around the area. They seem to really care about the quality of the food they put out and it shows. Excellent place!
Support your small local kitchens. Small in size big on flavor. Drove 30 minute to see the buzz and was not disappointed. Picked up a couple sandwiches and a pizza. Both were very well prepared. Will surely be added to our list of destinatio to return to.
I was working out of town and while searching for local pizza shops I found this one with good reviews and the pictures of the pies looked like my style. I ordered a traditional pepperoni and a specialty called The Kaitlin. The pepperoni pie was great, perfect amount of sauce with great tomato flavor. The Katelin was one of the best Alfredo based pies I've ever had. I ordered smalls and they were more like a traditional medium. I have left over pizza for a couple days now. I totally would recommend this shop. Great service calling in the order and great service with delivery.
After a year of reading incredible reviews on MVE, I finally decided to try Nelly's! I ordered a large "In a Pickle" pizza and a side of large chicken fingers with ranch. I was initially promised an hour for delivery, but the order arrived within 30 minutes, delivered by a very pleasant and energetic driver. His enthusiasm for his job was evident, and it was clear he took pride in providing excellent service. The pizza met all my expectations. A combination of dill pickle, thinly sliced red onion, ranch, and oils. The crust was perfectly charred and crispy on the outside, with a chewy interior. The chicken fingers were super moist and crispy, with no tendons running through them, clearly brined, and fried to perfection. Nelly's is definately a contender in the "best pizza in Haverhill" battle, if not the Merrimack Valley! Thank you!
Amazing sandwiches! The Italian is one of the best I’ve had in Massachusetts and is so unique, plus huge portion. Bonus the people working here are very kind. Really recommend!
I heard about Nelly's through some food communities on social media. I found myself in Haverhill today so I gave it a shot. I was very impressed by the freshly made chicken cutlets. I also had cheese pizza, and in my opinion, its one of the better pizzas around. The owner is a former butcher, and cares about his food. Give Nellys a shot.
I've had the pizza before and loved it. Today I had an Italian Sub on a grilled Ciabatta. Fantastic sandwich, it's a must try. Plus I chatted with the owner and he’s very passionate about his product and all around a good guy.
Ordered some Friday night dinner and a simple phone number mid type led to someone claiming my order, Nellies was very quick to make it right, cool me a fresh order and comp my meal. They were very professional and I am very appreciative. PS their food is delicious
Finally tried this place after seeing lots of recommendations online. The guy at the counter was incredibly friendly and hospitable and food came out fast and hot. For a pizza/sub shop, the food is excellent! The pizza is among the tastiest I’ve found anywhere, and this was just from ordering slices. They have some great, creative subs, and everything is reasonably priced. The chicken parm sub had the best cutlets I’ve had outside of a sit down restaurant. I would have preferred the cheese to be melted with the sub, and marinara sauce wouldn’t be my first choice, but it was very good overall. The parking situation is terrible however. For now, there’s an abandoned CVS across the street, but otherwise I don’t think there’s anywhere to park around the building. We’ll definitely come back when we’re in the area!
